Our school provides high quality education for students in Prep through to their final year of schooling in year 12. To enrol in our school eligibility for Special School Enrolment needs to be met. All students at our school have a severe intellectual disability. A large percentage of our students also have additional disabilities, including autism, hearing, vision and physical impairments. All of our students are learners that we support and educate to grow in confidence and skill in their learning and communication.
In 2021, 300 students are enrolled in our school. Our students and their families come from a large geographical area centred around Southport on the Gold Coast.
For children of compulsory school age, enrolment is subject to the process outlined in department's Procedure: Enrolment in State Primary, Secondary and Special Schools which can be located on the Department's policies and procedures website.
